Omspace Rocket and Exploration Pvt Ltd is constantly working to push the boundaries of technology in the space industry. As part of our commitment to STEM education, we recently provided an opportunity for our interns to work on a small model rocket project.
The interns were given the task of designing and building a small model rocket that would be capable of flying within a few days. The model rocket had many 3D printed parts like the nose cone and fins. This aspect of the project has given the interns an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques.
The interns worked in teams to complete different tasks. The design team used the latest software to create 3D models and simulations of the rocket components. The manufacturing team used 3D printing technology to manufacture the rocket parts. The testing team was responsible for carrying out the necessary tests on the rocket to ensure its safety and effectiveness.
